During construction of Chicago’s ArmitEdge Place development at 3021 W.Armitage Avenue, Gary participated in the Chicago Partnership for Affordable Neighborhoods program or CPAN. Through developer write-down and purchase price assistance to homebuyers, Northfield Group added affordable units to their market-rate venture on behalf of working class people. The entire process was a positive experience and a good example of how a developer should respond to the needs and interests of the neighborhood.
